Il me semble que nous ne parlons pas de la même chose.
Aussi faut-il différencier selon les époques (c'est évident, mais nous parlons de 2019) et les lieux. La France n'est pas l'Allemagne, ni l'Amérique.
Dans un séminaire que je connais (mais dont je ne mettrai pas le lien ici, pour des raisons que vous devinez), l'étude du grec est prévue pendant quatre ans, et ce n'est pas optionnel pour les séminaristes.
