J'ai trouvé une commentaire qui semble donner une explication crédible sur cet article de David Virtue:

Re: OTTAWA: Pope's Offer of Ordinariate put 'on...

Well, Engus, have you never heard of such phrases as "the Marxist scheme of History" or "the Christian scheme of salvation?" It is certainly a rather reckless act on your part to draw conclusions based on nothing more than defects in your knowledge of the English language.

However, what I wrote in my last post appears to have been rather "hasty" (to say the least) on my part, and it now appears that what may have happened is that some of the "mentor priests" appointed by Catholic bishops (note the plural, "bishops") set to their task with "guns blazing" and did indeed make some of the outrageous demands alleged in Hepworth's letter. Some of these "mentor priests" were indeed appointed by Archbishop Collins, but others by other Canadian Catholic diocesan bishops -- since the ACCC spans the geographical bounds of numerous Catholic dioceses -- and it does seem that Archbishop Collins' (despite his "cold-shouldering" of those ACCC bishops who were at the Mississaugua meeting in March) appointees were not among them.

In any event, reports of these things quickly reached the ACCC bishops; one (or more) of them sent a report of this to Abp. Hepworth; and either the ACCC bishop(s) or Hepworth himself attributed the responsibility to Abp. Collins -- and Hepworth wrote his letter and sent it out. Hinc illae lachrymae. That leaves still open the question of its rapid transmission to DV, whether by a "friend of the Ordinariat scheme" -- don't jib again over the word "scheme," Engus -- or by a Canadian Continuing Anglican Mrs. Proudie, I cannot say.

But I do offer Archbishop Collins apologies for my unfortunate haste in commenting, and so incurring the guilt of misreporting.
