"Je pense que Saint Pie X n'était pas sans savoir que ces "croyances" de l'homme sont organisées dans l'immense majorité des cas en "religions"..."
Sans doute, mais ce n'est pas du tout le sujet du passage de Saint Pie X que vous citez et c'est pour ça que votre analogie entre les deux citations ne tient pas : quand Saint Pie X parle de "toute croyance" (au singulier), encore une fois, c'est cette capacité de croire à quelques chose de transcendant et c'est pour mieux fustiger l'esprit laïcard et scientiste persécuteur de son époque qui menace cette capacité.
Quand à la citation du Pape François, vous la tronquez : il ne parle pas de vertu de "vrai religion". Il parle DES vrais religions :
"But the true religions are the development of the capacity that humanity has to transcend itself towards the absolute."
Qui plus est, il parle DES vrais religions dans un entretien ou il dit tout le bien qu'il pense de plusieurs Luthériens qu'il a rencontré et même (pourquoi s'arrêter en si bon chemin), de ce que les Luthériens peuvent apporter à l'Eglise :
"In ecumenical dialogue, the different communities should be mutually enriched with the best of their traditions. What could the Catholic Church learn from the Lutheran tradition?
Two words come to my mind: «reform» and «Scripture». I will try to explain. The first is the word «reform». At the beginning, Luther’s was a gesture of reform in a difficult time for the Church. Non désolé, votre comparaison ne tient pas...
Et les quelques lignes plus loin ou le Pape explique que faire du proselytisme avec des protestants est un péché, no comments...
C'est bien essayé, mais on est loin, très loin de Saint Pie X.
