Interdiction du missel de1998 et crises dans les diocèses d'Essen et de Bologne
Liberals Turning Conservative: Archbishop Arthur Roche, Secretary to the Congregation for Divine Worship, has told the Tablet that using the old English version of the missal is forbidden. There have been calls from liberals who turned conservative for the 1998 version to be made available as they are unhappy with the current more exact translation.
Abominable and Satanic: In mid-March a homosexualist group in Bologna, Italy, published obscene and blasphemous pictures showing among other three homosexuals dressed up like Christ, mimicking sexual practices with a cross. The group is housed for free in a building that belongs to the city. Bologna Cardinal Carlo Caffarra stated that the cross of Christ was – quote – “insulted in an abominable and satanic way.” And: “How can the city offer free housing for those who behave in such a way?”
Diocese of Sodom and Gomorra: In an eight page document in preparation for the Synod on the Family the diocese of Essen, Germany, has asked the Vatican to elaborate a “Rite for the blessing of same-sex-couples”, to de facto abolish the indissolubility of marriage, to accept adultery and to allow artificial birth control. According to the document, blessing of practiced homosexuality would be a – quote – “sign of justice” and “non-discrimination”.
