Official notice of the Superior of the South American District

Rev. Father Christian Bouchacourt, District Superior of the South American District of the Society Saint Pius X denies categorically the insistent rumor that circulates in Internet affirming that ten priests of the District would join the Institute of the Good Shepherd erected by Roma some days ago.

Unfortunately, this is not the fist time that such insinuations are spread through Internet by people who perceive that Tradition does not stop to grow and fortify in our continent.

All the priests of our District are united to our Superior General, Mons. Bernard Fellay, and agree in rejecting any practical agreement, like that which was signed by the Institute of the Good Shepherd, estimating that it would involve a serious danger for Tradition.

Other than the Institute of the Good Shepherd, the Society Saint Pius X does not demand any privilege only for itself; it directs yet its combat towards the restoration of Tradition in the entire Church.

May God forgive our slanderer and the Most Blessed Virgin Mary grants us the necessary strength and energy in this to marvelous combat for catholic Tradition.
